Welcome to Hands for Hope
Hands for Hope (H4H) is a registered non-profit charity organisation in Australia. Our aim is to provide direct support to disadvantaged children in remote regions of Vietnam. H4H's projects focus on key areas of education sponsorship, school construction and repair and corrective surgery. All H4H members are un-paid volunteers and our projects are directly managed by these dedicated members.
Hands for Hope organises fundraising events throughout the year, and also rely on the continual support of generous individuals and organisations, major sponsors and fundraising partners to enable us to fund our projects. We gratefully acknowledge these support and encouragement.
10th Anniversary Annual Fundraising Dinner
We will be celebrating our 10th
year anniversary on Friday 17
September 2010.
With your continual and generous support, since 2000 we have achieved the following milestones
in assisting disadvantaged children of Vietnam through our Education, Medical and Infrastructure
programs:
- 800 underprivileged children received the gift of an education through placements at schools each year
- 500 underprivileged children with physical disabilities received funded operations so they can walk on their own feet
- 11 classrooms/schools in rural areas of Vietnam repaired and built;
- Teachers' salaries funded each year over the last 7 years;
In addition, numerous of emergency relief and short-term projects are carried out annually. H4H is managed by a team of young volunteers for ten years and our survival depends on your generosity and support.

Community Fundraiser - Hope for Hand Group
Hands for Hope gratefully acknowledges the support of university students from Hope for Hands Group for undertaking to donate 80% of the net proceeds from their fund raising event “Let’s make your entertainment counts” to H4H’s Education program.
The ticket sales will be taken place from the following universities, exclusively:

Melbourne Institute of Business and Technology

Walk-A-Thon 2010 - Walk for the Children Who Can't
Once again it's time for our annual Walk-A-Thon 2010 - Walk for the children of Vietnam "Walk for those who can't". Help the children of Vietnam by participating in our annual Walk-A-Thon. Donations will provide much needed funds for corrective surgery to those who cannot afford it.
Enjoy a great day - walking in the park and helping the children in Vietnam!
Date & Time: 9am - 2pm Saturday 17 April 2010
Location: Footscray Park (Melway: 42-D2)
Walking route: Along Maribyrnong River, suitable for all ages.
Free T-shirt, BBQ and entertainment for all participants.

Cứu trợ khẩn cấp cho Miền Trung 2009
Tính đến ngày 16 tháng 10, quỹ cứu trợ bão lũ H4H 2009 tăng lên $14,369,65 (tính luôn quỹ của H4H $3,000) , số tiền chưa chi dùng sẽ được Ban Chấp Hành lên kế họach giúp trực tiếp gia đình bị ảnh hưởng bão lũ vừa qua, đặc biệt tại Kontum, Phú Yên, Quảng Ngãi, Đập Gốc etc…. Chúng tôi sẽ giữ trang này, cập nhật hóa tin tức cho đến khi quỹ cứu trợ chi dùng xong.

H4H 9th Annual Fundraising Dinner
Hands for Hope’s 9th Annual Fundraising Dinner held on September 18th 2009 was a great success and well attended with over 400 guests came to support us. Our annual dinner aims to raise funds to support projects with focus on education, healthcare and infrastructure helping disadvantaged children in Vietnam.
The total income on the night was $41,792 minus $14,486 in expenses giving the total amount raised of $27,306. The money raised will contribute to H4H common fund to run Educations Projects for over 800 disadvantaged students, Corrective Medical Surgery and Infrastructure Projects in Vietnam for the 2009 - 2010 financial year.
