About

History

Hands for Hope Inc is a non-profit, non-political, non-sectarian and non-religious charity organisation established by a group of young Vietnamese Australians. H4H was inaugurated in August 2000 and was formally and legally registered in Australia on 23rd March 2001 as Hands for Hope Inc. (Also know as Góp Một Bàn Tay) under the 1981 Incorporation Act, Registration number A0040881V. All H4H members are un-paid volunteers and our projects are directly managed by our dedicated and passionate members. We inspire a culture of professionalism, innovation and active community participation. Our project funding is obtained through public donations, business sponsorships, fundraising appeals organised by members and partners of the association.

Vision

Our vision is of a Vietnam where individuals, in particular children, and community have adequate access to resources to meet their self identified human needs and free from poverty

Our Mission

To provide direct assistance to underprivileged children of Vietnam the opportunity to access higher education training and or heath care services, thereby achieving sustainable livelihood and improved quality of life

Our Team

Hands for Hope currently has over 50 members and is committed to encourage all our members to take active roles in every aspect of H4H’s activities. We passionately believe in the benefit of volunteering for young people and their community.
