Hands for Hope also sponsors a number of "once-off" initiatives where immediate needs can be recognised and provided for, however does not require ongoing assistance. The projects can take the form of repairing houses destroyed by natural disasters, digging wells for a local community to have access to clean water, or assisting a needy youth to learn a vocational skill to find a proper job. Through our work on the ground, we often come across many cases in which with just a little financial support and encouragement, we can help to change the life of a child and his/her family. It can be very difficult to walk away and this project allows us to provide immediate assistance in these cases.
