Annual Fundraising Dinner 2005
Hands For Hope's annual fund raising dinner held on the 16th of September 2005 was a total success and highlighted the love and generosity of so many for the poor, orphaned and disabled children in Vietnam. The grand total raised from fundraising initiatives in the lead up to the dinner and from the dinner itself was $32,000.
This significant and valuable amount of money will allow Hands For Hope to continue our many programs to help underprivileged children in Vietnam. Effort will be concentrated to providing access to education for over 1000 poor and orphaned children under our education sponsorship program, providing medical assistance and surgery for disabled children, and provide vocational training and education for older children who have missed out on schooling.
I would like to thank our sponsors, everyone who attended our dinner and all the friends and volunteers of Hands for hope who worked very hard to make the dinner a success. The money raised will make a considerable difference to the children's lives , however their needs are too numerous to count. We hope that you will continue your support to bring hope to and provide a brighter future for the children of Vietnam.

Bữa cơm gây quỹ của nhóm tổ chức vào ngày 16 tháng 9 vừa qua đã thành công rực rỡ và nêu cao sự ủng hộ và lòng hảo tâm của quý vị dành cho những trẻ em nghèo, mồ côi và tàn tật tại Việt Nam. Tổng kết số tiền quyên góp trong chương trình gây quỹ và bữa cơm năm nay là $32,000.
Con số này thật là quý báu và sẽ cho nhóm khả năng để có thể tiếp tục những chương trình giúp đỡ các trẻ em thiếu may mắn tại quê nhà, cho hơn 1000 trẻ em nghèo, mồ côi dưới chương trình bảo trợ đi học của nhóm được cắp sách đến trường, cho các em bị tật nguyền có cơ hội được hồi phục, cho các em mù chữ được công ăn việc làm qua chương trình dạy nghề và xoá mù chữ vv...
Xin gởi lời cảm tạ đến các quý vị mạnh thường quân và quý vị đã đến tham gia bữa cơm và tất cả các bạn trong nhóm đã góp một bàn tay để cho bữa cơm được thành công.
Mặc dù số tiền lớn lao trên sẽ giúp được nhiều các em, nhưng nhu cầu cần thiết vô cùng lớn lao. Mong quý vị tiếp tục ủng hộ cho nhóm để các con em thiếu thốn tại Việt Nam được mơ ước và hy vọng tới một tương lai tươi sáng hơn.
