Walk-A-Thon 2007
This year’s Walk-A-Thon was held on Saturday 21st April 2007 at Footscray Park, Victoria.
This year's Walk-A-Thon was another great event. We'll even take credit for bringing the much needed rain as soon as the event officially ended!
This year's event attracted over 150 participants. The youngest was a 2 years old boy and the eldest was an 84 years old elderly gentleman. We raised a record of $23,020. This is an incredible achievement.
As promised, all the funds raised will be dedicated to H4H's Corrective Surgery Program. With each life-changing surgery case costing only $250, the fund raised will give many more children the opportunities for a better life. As the direct result of this successful walk-a-thon, we are now preparing to commence new surgery cases in Vietnam and can't wait to see the results and report the progress to you in H4H's next newsletter.
Once again, thankyou to all our sponsors, supporting organisations and participants who contributed to this enjoyable and rewarding event.
