Projects
Running successfully every project is H4H's main objective, where we passionately believe in "Giving a Chance, Making a Difference".
Education Sponsorship Program
H4H's education sponsorship program aims to provide access to education for disadvantaged children in remote regions of Vietnam. This will hopefully broaden their career options and allow them to follow their dreams. We encourage students to at least complete their secondary education before enrolling in an apprenticeship. Students from junior high and above are strongly supported if they wish to advance their education to tertiary level.
Since the establishment of H4H, we have reached out to 20 provinces with over 30 projects and over 800 students all over Vietnam. Without your kind continous support and sponsorship, achieving basic schooling, even at an early age of 5 or 6 may only be a dream. [More details]
School Construction & Repair Program
H4H's School Construction Program provides opportunity for young children in rural areas to obtain their education in suitable learning environment. In particular, we focuse on rebuilding kindergartens and primary schools so that the children have a solid foundation for entering primary and high school respectively.
Our objective is to build two or three classroom schools in remote areas which currently have minimal educational facilities. The responsibility for ongoing maintenance of the school will be transfered to the local community once classes begin. This project also extends to assisting schools in disrepair and in need of upgrading. This project also extends to assisting schools in disrepair and in need of upgrading. [More details]
Corrective Surgery Program
This program aims to assist poor children in remote parts of Vietnam, who are living with physical disabilities which take away their self-reliance and prevent them from being able to fully participate in the community around them. The program coordinates and funds the necessary surgery and rehabilitation required to correct or alleviate their disabilities. [More details]
Social Welfare Initiatives
H4H also sponsors a number of "once-off" initiatives where immediate needs can be recognised and provided for, however does not require ongoing assistance. The projects can take the form of repairing houses destroyed by natural disasters, digging wells for a local community to have access to clean water, or assisting a needy youth to learn a vocational skill to find a proper job. Through our work on the ground, we often come across many cases in which with just a little financial support and encouragement, we can help to change the life of a child and his/her family. It can be very difficult to walk away and this project allows us to provide immediate assistance in these cases. [More details]
